NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW SUBJECT TO MANDATORY REFERNDUM 
NOTICE IS HEREBEY GIVEN that at the regular meeting held on June 8,26 the Town Board of the Town of Lebanon duly adopted a local law  pursuant to Municipal Home Rule Law  10 increasing the term of office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Lebanon from two(2) years to four(4) years ("A Local Law Increasing the Term of Office of the Highway Superintendent  from Two (2) years to four (4) Years" ), subject to a mandatory referendum at the Town of Lebanon general election to be held on November 3, 2026, an abstract of which follows . 
Language of Proposition 
Changing The Term of Office of the Highway Superintendent  of the Town of Lebanon from two (2) years to four (4) years be approved, thereby changing the term of office of the Highway  Superintendent  for persons elected to that position and taking office on or before January 1, 2027? 
Affidavit of Posting 
Joann Collins , being duly sworn, deposes and says that she is the Town clerk of the Town of Lebanon, Madison County , New York, and that on the 9Th day of June 2026, she affixed the attached "Notice of Adoption of Local Law Subject to Mandatory referendum" on the signboard maintained pursuant to Town Law Section 30 (6) near the entrance to the Town Clerk's Office in the Lebanon Town Hall located at 1210 Bradley Brook Rd , Earlville, NY 13332 in said Town.
